History
2006-07: Drazenovic plodded through a mediocre regular season. He missed a chunk of games due to injury, and didn’t enjoy the success that many 20-year-olds do against mostly younger competition in their final junior season. But the centerman came up big when it counted, totaling 19 points in 15 playoff games. Many of his goals and points were game winners or key goals in helping the Cougars make a decent playoff run.

2007-08: Drazenovic jumped from the WHL to the AHL this season, centering for St. Louis affiliate Peoria. In 69 games with the Rivermen, the forward managed to notch 16 goals and another 26 helpers for a 42 point season.
2008-09: In his second pro season, Drazenovic appeared in a career-high 76 games for Peoria. He scored 12 goals, 21 assists for 33 points. He added 1 goal in 5 playoff games for the Rivermen.
2009-10: In 58 games with Peoria, Drazenovic scored a career-high 19 goals and added 20 assists for 39 points.
2010-11: Drazenovic made his NHL debut in November - appearing in three games with the Blues - and spent the rest of the season with the Blues' AHL affiliate Peoria. Drazenovic was scoreless and had a -3 plus/minus, averaging just over eight minutes of ice time in his stint with the Blues. In 75 games with Peoria he was the team's third-leading scorer with 23 goals and 23 assists and was -1 with 24 PMs. Peoria finished third in its division and lost in the first round of the playoffs. In four playoff games Drazenovic had 1 assist and was -1 with 2 PMs.
Talent Analysis
Drazenovic is a swift skater and a creative puckhandler. He is at his best when on the attack, using his physical tools to generate scoring chances. He has good on-ice vision, and a quick shot release. Drazenovic doesn’t play very physical, but he has gotten stronger since he was drafted.
Future
After signing a two-way contract with Columbus in the summer, Drazenovic will earn a shot at cracking the Blue Jackets roster, but in all likelihood will play in an offensive capacity on Springfield.
