History

2008-09 season: Lauridsen played his first season at St. Cloud State University where he played in 28 games and posted one assist. That assist came in the Huskies 6-2 win over Minnesota State-Mankato back on Dec. 6. Lauridsen also finished fifth on the team with 38 penalty minutes.

2009-10: In his second season with St. Cloud State, Lauridsen continued to make strides in his offensive game. He would register six goals and the same number of assists and be named to the NCAA (WCHA) All Academic Team.

2009-10: In his second season with St. Cloud State, Lauridsen continued to make strides in his offensive game. He registered 6 goals and 6 assists and was +7 with 54 PMs in 43 games as the Huskies' finished third in the WCHA. St. Cloud State reached the conference championship game and advanced to the NCAA West Regional Final. Lauridsen was named to the WCHA All Academic Team.

2010-11: Lauridsen made his pro debut with AHL Adirondack after signing a two-year, entry-level deal with the Flyers in March 2011 following his junior season at St. Cloud State. He was scoreless and +1 while accumulating 30 PMs in two games with the Phantoms. Lauridsen skated in 37 of 38 games for the Huskies, who finished tied for eighth in the WCHA after their successful season a year earlier. Lauridsen was second on the Huskies with 51 PMs and was +6 while scoring 1 goal with 8 assists.

Talent Analysis

Lauridsen is a huge defenseman from Denmark with great size and reach. A team player with a good work ethic. Is aggressive and physical with the potential to become a very capable stay-at-home defenseman in the future. Mobility, in terms of skating, agility and acceleration, needs improvement.

Future

Lauridsen will enter his sophomore season at St. Cloud State University this fall.
