Profile Contributed By: Kyle McMahon

History

2006-07: Berglund starred in the Allsvenskan league in Sweden. He missed a small portion of games due to injury, but was still amongst the league’s top scorers with 48 points. He centered Vasteras’ top line, and was a fixture on special teams throughout the year. Berglund also had three points for Sweden at the World Juniors.

Talent Analysis

Berglund excels at most offensive aspects of the game. His height gives him a great reach, and enables him to protect the puck well. His scoring touch is evident, and he possesses excellent vision that enables him to find open teammates with his passes. Berglund is continuing to improve on his skating ability, which is good but not great.

Future

Once he matures, he should become at least a number two NHL center.
