Talent Analysis
Effective in all situations, Zackrisson is a smooth skater who shows effortless acceleration. His vision, however, does need improvement, though his playmaking abilities are good. Zackrisson possesses a solid work ethic and shows a willingness to compete physically. Zackrisson is beginning to use his shot more, one of his strongest assets.
Future
The late bloomer showed that the offensive abilities he displayed in junior hockey could translate to a senior league. However, he must prove he can continue scoring at the highest level in order to be of use to the Sharks in the future. He will be allowed to continue his development for a couple of seasons in the Swedish Elite League before signing an NHL contract. If he continues progress, he will be capable of playing third line role in the future.
