History
Chernov was born in Novopolotsk and moved to Russia when he was around the age of 10. He first started playing hockey for Spartak junior hockey school. When the muscovite team collapsed in 2005, he moved to Mytischi. This is his second season with Khimik, and the first in which he is really involved in main team’s games in the Super League, making his professional debut.
Talent Analysis
Pavel Chernov is a very good playmaking center . He bulked up some size, which is good as some work was needed, has polished up his play too.
