History
2008-09: Lefebvre nearly doubled his offensive numbers in his second season with Drummondville - scoring 21 goals with 27 assists and 38 PMs. The Voltigeurs finished first in the Central Division and captured the QMJHL's President's Trophy under coach Guy Boucher. Lefebvre finished +31 on a team that scored 156 more goals than it allowed. In 19 playoff games he scored 3 goals with 5 assists and was +6 with 2 PMs. Lefebvre signed a free agent contract with the Montreal Canadiens in September 2009.
2009-10: Lefebvre was a teammate of Canadiens' 2009 fifth-round pick Gabriel Dumont in his third season with Drummondville. Lefebvre played in 66 contests and scored 26 goals while assisting on 29 others, eking out improvements over his previous bests. His +21 plus/minus was only tenth best on a Voltigeurs squad that had the QMJHL's second-best record and finished first in the Central Division. In 14 playoff games Lefebvre scored 2 goals with 4 assists and was +7 with 9 PMs.
2010-11: Lefebvre spent his fourth QMJHL season with the Montreal Juniors after being acquired along with Charles Landry in a June 2010 trade with Drummondville. Lefebvre scored 19 goals with 27 assists in 60 games with the Juniors and was +26 with 38 PMs. Montreal finished first in the West Division and defeated Halifax in the first round of the playoffs before falling to Lewiston. Lefebvre played in all ten playoff games and had 3 goals with 5 assists and was +3.
Talent Analysis
Lefebvre's best asset is his two-way game. He is not a great threat offensively, though he has scored in bunches at the junior level. Lefebvre has matured physically this year, which will help prepare him for a transition to the pros in the near future, but he is still relatively undersized.
Future
Lefebvre has spent four seasons in the QMJHL. He signed a three-year contract with the Canadiens in September, 2009.
