History

Emmerson was the largest selected player in the 2005 draft at 6'8. He appeared in 35 games in 2004-05 on both the blue line and up front for the Tri-City Americans, accruing 61 penalty minutes but no points.

This was the second Amerks player the Wild has taken in as many drafts after selecting defenseman Clayton Stoner in the fourth round last year.

<P>2006-07: Signed and assigned to the ECHL Texas Wildcatters.  Did not see much ice time.

Talent Analysis

His size is his best asset, and he'll use it to play physically.  Skating and stickhandling are weaknesses.
