History

In 1999-2000, played with Airdrie Bantam AAA team.

In 2000-01, he split his time between the Calgary Royals, Alberta Junior A, 20 games, and the Regina Pats, 23 games.

Talent Analysis
His skating has a slumbering style with not much initial jump, but decent top end when in flight. Though he is among the WHL penalty minute leaders, he rarely takes a “dumb” one. He checks like he punches: hard. His willingness to mix it up with opposing team's tough guys, and his knack for laying out explosive body checks, has made him an instant fan favourite. He possesses a good work ethic in both ends of the rink, and Big Snake is a quality role player.
Future
When Robin is on the ice working hard, good things tend to happen for the Giants. Along with the intangibles, Big Snake has the ability to score 20 goals.
