History
Ryan Pottruff had a decent rookie year with the best regular season team in the OHL, earning an assist in his first career OHL game on September 19th. In October he broke his hand and ended up missing 12 games, setting his development back somewhat.

Talent Analysis
He’s got good size and should develop with more ice time next season. The Knights often tried to utilize him as a pugilist in 2003-04, and it’s unclear if he will develop into a well-rounded defensive defenseman or a tough guy on the blue line at this point.
