History

2006-07: Wilson, who spent the previous three seasons with Toronto St. Michael’s (OHL), made a move to Sarnia this season, suiting up for 68 games with the Sting. He tallied career-highs with his new club, potting 17 goals and 75 points, along with 136 penalty minutes.

2007-08: The Sarnia Sting (OHL) blue-liner scored seven goals and a career-high 64 assists (his 71 points was the most by an OHL D-man, as were his assists) in 58 games this season, while registering another seven helpers in nine playoff games. He was nominated to the OHL All-Star Third Team for his efforts. Expect to see him make the AHL jump next season.

2008-09: Wilson began the season in Calgary’s system, appearing in 60 games with the Quad City Flames (AHL); he tallied four goals and 20 points in his time with QC. A move sent him over to the Lake Erie Monsters, where he registered two assists through eight games.
