History

Crowder was selected from the BCHL, where he was a solid performer. The right winger finished seventh in scoring with his champion South Surrey Eagles in 2004-05, scoring 50 points (23 goals, 27 assists) in 56 games.

2007-08: Finished fourth in scoring with personal highs of 23 assists and 38 points in 41 games.  He was awarded CCHA Offensive Player of the Week for December 10th.  Crowder became a more important part of the Spartan’s offense as he saw powerplay duty and tallied a career high 100 shots.

Talent Analysis

A big-bodied forward who can play both wings, Crowder has his most offensive success in front of and around the net. The right-shooting forward can play on both special teams and is particularly effective in front of the net on during power play. Keeps his head on a swivel.  Skating is still a weakness. He needs to fill out his 6’3 frame more to be more effective at the professional level as his 185lb frame is still relatively lean for the type of role he is expected to fill.
