Trevor Koverko

Profile Contributed By: Leslie Treff

History

Koverko is a tough defender who didn’t see a lot of ice time on the Owen Sound Attack blueline in 2004-05. Traded to the Oshawa Generals in June 2006 after missing 24 games due to a shoulder injury during the 2005-06 season. Played with a lot of energy during the 2006-07 regular season, however, had discipline issues on and off the ice. Off-ice disciplinary problems caused Oshawa to send Koverko home prior to the beginning of the playoffs.

Talent Analysis

Big, physical defenseman, who will not hesitate to drop the gloves, however, has maturity issues.

Future

His maturity level is an issue, but if Koverko can make some adjustments to his attitude, his toughness is a highly desired quality.
