History

2006-07: Nill played high-level midget hockey with Detroit Compuware. He put up 33 points in 53 games. 

2007-08: This was Nill’s first season outside of the MWEHL. He centered for the Penticton Vees (BCHL), netting five goals and six assists in 53 appearances with the club. He is now playing at Michigan State University (CCHA).

2008-09: Nill skated in 34 games in his first year at Michigan State University, scoring 1 goal, 2 assists for 3 points.

2009-10: As a sophomore, Nill scored 2 goals, 7 assists for 9 points in 26 games for the Spartans.

2010-11: Nill skated in 29 games for Michigan State as a junior. An assistant captain for the Spartans, he played a lower line, defensive forward role; finishing -4 with 1 goal, 2 assists and 10 PMs. Michigan State finished a disappointing 10th in the 11-team CCHA.

Talent Analysis

Nill combines his size and strong skating to create offense. He is a hard worker, and can grind it out in traffic and in front of the net.
