Talent Analysis
Rutkowski is a big, physical defender who posesses a heavy slapshot. While his skating and defensive zone play could use some improvement, Rutkowski is a good passer and is unafraid to drop the gloves.
Future
Rutkowski is still somewhat raw, and will likely spend another couple years in the WHL refining his skills. He projects as a fifth or sixth blueliner at the NHL level.
