History
2002-04: Spent three seasons with Rungstead in Denmark beforing coming to the CHL.
2004-05: Played for PEI Rocket in the QMJHL and notched 59 points in 64 games as a rookie. Was chosen in the 4th round by Edmonton.
2005-06: Led PEI in scoring by a country mile totaling 96 points. After the season Trukhno asked management to be traded and got his wish.
2006-07: Skated for the Gatineau Olympiques set new personal highs in points (102) and assists (77). Signed a contract with Edmonton midway through the season.
Talent Analysis
Trukhno is a good puck handler with impressive offensive skills. He is a threat to opponents carrying the puck through the neutral zone with his open-ice hitting. In general Trukhno plays a physical, gritty, style of play, using his speed to go deep on the forecheck and punish opposing defensemen.
