History
2006-07: The forward played with HPK's SM-Liiga and ECC squads. With The SM-Liiga club, he recorded 11 goals and 40 points in 50 games, while with the ECC team he was equally productive, scoring a goal and four assists in three games.
2007-08: Leino signed as a free agent by Detroit on May 10, 2008. In 55 games with Jokerit Helsinki (FIN), the winger netted 28 goals and 49 assists for a total of 77 points. 14 playoff games yielded another eight goals and 11 assists. He also won several SM-Liiga awards this season, including Most Assists and Best Player of the Regular Season, as well as a selection to the All-Star Team.Talent Analysis
