Talent Analysis
The looming forward plays with a physical presence that he brings to the rink from the football field where he played linebacker and tight end.
A league coach had this to say about Engasser: “He’s a big kid, a heck of a football player, and has the potential to be a nice power forward. He is good up and down the rink, finishes his checks, and shoots the puck well. He does well on the breakout from the wall, instinctively takes the right angles on the forecheck, goes to the net, and finishes scoring opportunities. Engasser will need to improve his skating ability and lateral movement to be successful at higher levels.”
Future
Engasser is heading into his senior season at Yale University where he'll be the Bulldogs team captain.
