History
Kotvan is arguably the best draft-eligible goalie prospect in the Slovak Junior League for 2007.
2006-07: Kotvan had three starts in the Slovak Senior League playoffs,including one start against HC Kosice in which he stopped 52 shoots, giving him a lot of self confidence going into next season. Surprisingly, in the U-18 WJC, he was only the back-up goaltender for Team Slovakia.
Talent Analysis
Kotvan is fairly quick and moves well, but sometimes is not sure when to play the puck out of his crease.
Future
He could develop into a Jaroslav Halak type player, but he must work harder to get there. He has the potential to be an NHL backup goaltender.
