The Winnipeg Jets have yet to reach the NHL playoffs since re-locating to Winnipeg from Atlanta for the 2011-12 season, but under general manager Kevin Cheveldayoff the club has steadily been building up a group of talented prospects.

The Fall edition of the Hockey’s Future ranking of the Top 50 NHL prospects continues with the prospects ranked 11-20. Leading this portion of the rankings is Nikolaj Ehlers, who is one of two Winnipeg Jets prospects in this group.

Ehlers takes top spot in Winnipeg Jets Fall 2014 Top 20

The Winnipeg Jets had an exciting third season, playing in the Western Conference for the first time since re-locating from Atlanta. The Jets, however, once again finished just short of a playoff spot. Paul Maurice, who took over as the Jets’ coach in January, seemed to have the team playing better at the end of the year and with a full offseason and training camp should be able to put his mark on the club.
