Capital District native (and RPI graduate) Matt Murley pleased friends and family at the Pepsi Arena in Albany and propelled the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins past the Albany River Rats, 5-3.

A nifty behind-the-net wrap-around goal by Jason Spezza late in the third period won it for the Binghamton Senators over visiting Albany. The Rats, held without a shot in the first period, and down by 2-0, battled back with a Greg Crozier goal, only to be outdone by Spezza.
