Top 50 NHL Prospects: Drouin, Barkov lead Top 10 section of Fall ranking

The Fall edition of the Hockey’s Future ranking of the Top 50 NHL prospects concludes with the top 10 prospects. Tampa Bay Lightning prospect Jonathan Drouin narrowly beat out Florida Panthers forward Aleksander Barkov to take top honors in this edition of the rankings.

As the 2014 NHL preseason winds down, the number of prospects remaining with the big club has dwindled, as well. So, despite a night in which there were seven NHL games to choose from, only a handful of NHL prospects in those games stood out. It was a busy off-season for Calgary Flames prospect Rushan Rafikov as he first had to deal with visa problems which prevented him from taking part in the Flames’ prospect camp.
