After watching Finland forward Eeli Tolvanen (Sioux City – USHL) notch a hat trick in the first quarterfinal game of the 2016 IIHF U18 World Championship played at the Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, Team Canada forward Tyson Jost (Penticton – BCHL) decided to get in on the action with a hat trick of his own in a 9-1 win over Switzerland. Canada posted their second win of the 2016 IIHF U18 World Championship, although it didn’t come as easily as their first win on Friday night. The Czech Republic provided the opposition on Saturday, and, after Canada took a 3-0 lead, the Czechs gave the Canadians all they could handle before finally bowing, 3-1. Read more»
