Erie Otters goaltender Oscar Dansk seems to have taken his game to another level this season in the OHL, as have his teammates. Dasnk's improvement has carried over into the 2014 World Junior Championship, where he is an integral part of Sweden's undefeated run to the tournament's semi-finals.

The Springfield Falcons, the AHL affiliate for the Columbus Blue Jackets, are once again fielding a strong group of players and are at the top of the AHL's Northeast Division. Springfield is loaded with NHL quality prospects, many of whom have already seen some time in Columbus.

At one point, no OHL team wanted Josh Anderson to pull their sweater over his head. But that day of disappointment is long in the rear-view mirror as the London Knights' 6’2" power forward has driven himself to becoming not only an NHL draft pick, but also on the short list to don the red and white of Team Canada during the upcoming 2014 World Junior Championship.

Oscar Dansk’s journey in life has taken him from Sweden to the U.S., back to Sweden, and now finds him holding down the fort in between the pipes in Erie, PA. And the Columbus Blue Jackets’ prospect is hoping that his next journey will be with his Otters’ teammates deep into the OHL playoffs.

Columbus Blue Jackets possess lots of high-end talent in Canadian major juniors

The Columbus Blue Jackets seem to be drawn to the OHL. Five of their eight prospects playing junior hockey hail from Ontario's league, led by goaltender Oscar Dansk and wingers Kerby Rychel and Josh Anderson. The three prospects not playing in the OHL are Oliver Bjorkstrand, Peter Quenneville, and Dillon Heatherington, who all play in the WHL.
