With the help of some late-game heroics from captain Andrew Miller, the Yale Bulldogs made history Thursday night when they earned a 3-2 overtime victory over the UMass-Lowell River Hawks. It will be Yale's first appearance in a national championship game ever and the first time an ECAC team has played for a national title since Colgate in 1990.

Junior defenseman Kevin Gravel (LAK) has been a pillar of strength on St. Cloud State’s blueline, logging upwards of 25 minutes per game and facing some of the best opposing players in NCAA hockey. He has played in all 41 games to date, posting 11 points (one goal, 10 assists).

For Quinnipiac forward Jordan Samuels-Thomas (WPG), two years can make a world of difference.
"I remember this time two years ago sitting in my dorm room at [Bowling Green]," said Samuels-Thomas, just a day before his team would play St. Cloud State University in the semi-final match of the Frozen Four.

While Kellen is a prospect of the Edmonton Oilers, Connor is an undrafted free agent. The twin brothers attended the Oilers’ prospect camp together last summer.

Junior defenseman Gus Young (COL) has blossomed into a tough and effective defensive defenseman for the Yale Bulldogs this season. He has played in all 35 games for that school, posting eight points (two goals, six assists) to date. Young is one of just three Colorado Avalanche prospects playing in the NCAA this season.
