There is no question that Finland defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen left his mark on his country's gold medal win at the 2014 World Junior Championship, as the big defender netted the golden goal to help Finland take their first gold medal at this event since 1998. But one of Ristolainen's blueline brethren, Ville Pokka, may have been Finalnd's most consistently effective defensemen at this WJC.

If there is any truth to the notion that you can take a man out of a town but you can’t take the town out of the man, Ryan Pulock might soon become a poster-boy of sorts for that axiom. It seems inconceivable that the 19-year-old will ever be able to forget his Manitoba roots.
