 In the last federal election, Canadians gave Prime Minister Stephen Harper a vote of confidence by granting him a majority. Over the summer, the Erie Otters extended a vote of confidence to its own Stephen Harper by not only bestowing him with an ‘A’ for his sweater, but also granting him his wish to mentor the club’s prized addition — exceptional player Connor McDavid.

 Toronto, ON – The Ontario Hockey League today announced that forward Seth Griffith of the London Knights is the OHL Player of the Week for the opening week of the 2012-13 OHL Regular Season ending September 23 after scoring five goals and one assist for six points in two games with a plus-minus rating of plus-3.

 The Canadians won the gold medal at this year's Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament held in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. They truly deserved it because they played with passion, pride and will. Even their team motto says "I'm willing“ so there must have been a lot of willingness to obtain that golden piece of metal. And it wouldn't happen if it wasn't for their widespread qualities; Canada just dominated the tournament – in net, in their own zone and in the offensive zone.
