Boston Bruins prospect Alexander Khokhlachev is having a fine season playing for the OHL‘s Windsor Spitfires.  Khokhlachev currently is among the top 10 scorers in that league.  His scoring exploits have not gone unnoticed in his home country as he was named to Russia‘s 2012 World Junior Championship squad.

Khokhlachev scored a goal in Russia‘s opening win at the 2012 WJC.  He spoke with the media following the win.

Video: 2012 World Junior Championship – Andrei Vasilevski, Russia

Russian goaltender Andrei Vasilevski is considered one of the top netminders available for the 2012 NHL Draft.  Those responsible for putting together Russia‘s entry at the 2012 World Junior Championship recognized Vasilevski’s ability and appear to have put their destiny in his hands.  Based on the first game performance, it looks like a good move as Vasilevski was the star of Russia‘s 3-0 opening win over Switzerland.

Vasilevski spoke to the media following the win.
