The field has been whittled down to four countries at the 2015 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 World Championship. The teams still standing – Canada, the United States, Finland and host Switzerland – will take the ice on Saturday in the two semifinal games taking place at Bossard Arena in Zug, Switzerland. In what could be a game that decides which country takes home gold at the 2015 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 World Championship, Team USA will faceoff against Team Canada in a semifinal match on Saturday. Team USA has moved on to the semifinals at the 2015 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 World Championship after taking a quarterfinal match from the Czech Republic, 7-2. Fourteen players chipped in on offense for the U.S. in that game, including six players registering two points apiece. Read more»

Team USA had a mostly successful run through the preliminary round of the 2015 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 World Championship, winning three of their four contests while outscoring their opponents, 30 goals to 8. The one blemish on the USA’s record is their opening 3-1 loss to Russia, the team they are presently tied with at the top of Group A (pending the result of Russia’s game vs. Sweden). Read more»
