BOUCHERVILLE, Monday, October 11, 2010 – Goaltenders Olivier Roy and Evan Mosher as well as defenseman Nathan Beaulieu today were named the TELUS three stars of the week for the period extending from October 4 to 10.

Acadie-Bathurst goaltender Oliver Roy is the first star after recording two wins, including a shutout, in two outings. Roy maintained a 0.96 goals-against-average and .968 save percentage during that span. He played his best game of the week on Saturday, pushing away all 32 shots he faced as well as stoning three of the four skaters in the shootout to help the Titan blank the Voltigeurs 1-0. He was named the first star in each of his two starts.

The second star is awarded to P.E.I. Rocket netminder Evan Mosher. The Rocket backstop pushed away 27 shots in a 3-1 win over the Tigres in Victoriaville on Wednesday and then stopped 31 pucks in a 5-2 victory over the Foreurs in Val-d’Or on Saturday. P.E.I. is riding a three-game winning streak.

Nathan Beaulieu of the Saint John Sea Dogs is the third star. The defenseman was brilliant in two wins over the Wildcats and the Juniors, collecting one goal and two helpers while posting an excellent +5 rating.
