Bartley Named WHL Player of the Week

Calgary – The Greyhound WHL Player of the Week is forward Mitch Bartley of the Vancouver Giants. Bartley earned player of the week honours by recording four goals and seven points in four road games including a power-play goal and a game-winning goal during the week of January 23rd to January 29th. Bartley also had a plus-minus rating of +4 while helping the Giants to a 3-1 record for the week.

On Tuesday, January 24th, Bartley recorded two assists in a 5-1 win against the Tri-City Americans. On Wednesday, January 25th, Bartley recorded a goal in a 5-3 loss to the Spokane Chiefs.

On Friday, January 27th, Bartley recorded two goals and added an assist in a 5-1 win against the Kootenay Ice. On Sunday, January 29th, Bartley scored the game-winning goal in a 4-0 shutout win over the Tri-City Americans.

Bartley, a 20-year-old native of Maple Ridge, British Columbia, is a free agent.
