For Dougie Hamilton and Boone Jenner, playing for Team Canada at the 2013 World Junior Championship represents an opportunity to avenge a disappointing showing at the 2012 edition of this tournament, one in which Canada settled for a bronze medal.

Due mostly to the NHL lockout, both players have returned to their respective OHL teams for the 2012-13 season, with Hamilton playing for the Niagara IceDogs and Jenner skating for the Oshawa Generals.  Both players are having strong seasons, with Jenner sitting among the top 15 scorers in the OHL and Hamilton leading all OHL defensemen in scoring.

But, while Hamilton has been able to compete in all four games for Team Canada at the 2013 WJC, Jenner was finally able to don the red-and-white jersey for the first time at this tournament on New Year's Eve after serving a three-game suspension for a late hit in a pre-tournament game against Sweden.

Both players provided their comments after Canada's 4-1 win over Russia, with some of those comments being captured in this HF video.
