Remparts take control of the CHL Mosaik MasterCard Top 10 rankings

BOUCHERVILLE, Wednesday, February 22, 2006 (QMJHL) – The Canadian Hockey League today announced the BMO – Bank of Montreal CHL Top 10 rankings for week nineteen. Three Quebec Major Junior Hockey League teams managed to crack the upper echelon of the CHL.

The Quebec Remparts took over the top ranking thanks to a 10 game winning streak. They currently stand first in the QMJHL overall standings, two points ahead of the second place Moncton Wildcats who slipped one spot. Moreover, the Chicoutimi Saguenéens, winners of four straight games, climbed up one position, going from tenth to ninth.

The weekly rankings of the Canadian Hockey League’s top 10 teams are selected by a panel of National Hockey League scouts.
