BOUCHERVILLE, Thursday, March 23, 2006 (QMJHL) – The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League playoffs get under way tonight as the Foreurs visit the Remparts live from Colisée Pepsi. All the other match-ups begin tomorrow evening. Throughout the first round of the playoffs, fans can experience the games either on the small screen, the radio or via the Internet.

The contests between the Foreurs and the Remparts at the Air Creebec Center in Val-d’Or are available on TVC-9 (tape delayed) four hours after the first whistle is heard. To listen to the live radio broadcast, simply turn the dial to Info 800 AM.

The Fog Devils battle the Screaming Eagles. In Cape Breton, EastLink Television offers the games on the small screen and via Web Casting, while CJCB-1270 AM presents the radio play-by-play of all seven games (if necessary). In St. John’s, Rogers Cable (Channel 9) offers all of the Fog Devils’ home contests.

EastLink Television is also your home to see the meetings between the Mooseheads and the MAINEiacs live from the Halifax Forum, while the Mooseheads’ road games are available on CJCH-920 AM. In Lewiston, TV-Adelphia (Channel 9) shows the MAINEiacs’ home games. CNN-1240, WTME-780 & 1450 AM take care of the radio road broadcasts.

Canal Vox and TV COGECO present a few of the Voltigeurs versus Olympiques contests, while CJRC-1150 AM offers all seven battles (if necessary). Also, a few games of the Cataractes versus Huskies match-up are available on TV COGECO and on CHIC 88,7 FM.

CKRS-590 AM is your radio home to listen to all of the radio play-by-play action of the Drakkar vs. Saguenéens series. Moreover, TQS Saguenay and CHLC 97,1 FM in Baie-Comeau broadcast a handful of contests.

Finally, CKLE- 92,9 FM offers several games from the Titan vs. Rocket series, while the Tigres battle the Wildcats on the Web thanks to Aliant and Bell Canada.
