Mueller Named Greyhound WHL Player of the Week – 2006 Playoff Edition

Calgary – The Greyhound WHL Player of the Week is forward Peter Mueller of the Everett Silvertips. Mueller earned player of the week honours by scoring three goals and five points in the first two games of the WHL KalTire Western Conference Semi-Final best-of-seven series against the Kelowna Rockets. The series is tied 1-1.

Games 3 and 4 of the series continue Tuesday and Wednesday in Everett. Game time for both games is 7:05 PM.

On Friday, April 7, Mueller scored two goals and added an assist in a 5-3 road win in Game 1 at Kelowna.

On Sunday, April 9th, Mueller recorded a power-play goal and added an assist in a 3-2 road loss in Game 2.

Mueller, a 17-year-old native of Bloomington, Minnesota, is eligible for the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.

Honourable mention goes to Anton Khudobin of the Saskatoon Blades for his 80 save performance on Saturday night against the Medicine Hat Tigers.
