Ryan Mior Named the ADT CHL Goaltender of the Week

Toronto – The Canadian Hockey League announced today that goaltender Ryan Mior of the P.E.I Rocket was named ADT CHL Goaltender of the Week ending Sunday Oct 1st.

Mior, a 19-year old native of St. John’s, Newfoundland, registered two wins, including a shutout, while posting an impressive 1.00 goals-against-average and a .969 save percentage. Mior stopped all 31 shots earning him his first shutout the year and the games First Star selection as the Rocket defeated the Moncton Wildcats by a score of 8-0. Mior followed that effort with another strong, 32 save, game and Third Star selection, as he led the Rocket over the Saint John Sea Dogs 8-2. Mior, impressively went 111 minutes and 55 seconds without allowing a goal over his last three games as he helped P.E.I. improve their record to 4-2-0-0 and extend their three game win streak.
