Bryan Little Named OHL Player of the Week

Toronto – The Ontario Hockey League today announced that Barrie Colts’ forward Bryan Little is the OHL Player of the Week for the week ending October 8, 2006. Little, who was drafted 12th overall by the Atlanta Thrashers in this past June’s NHL Entry Draft, registered 10 points in three games last week.

Little started his week last Thursday with two assists in a shoot out loss to the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds. The following night he scored a goal and added an assist as the Colts defeated the Oshawa Generals. Little finished his week with a six point game, scoring a goal and adding five assists in a victory over the visiting Erie Otters, this past Saturday night.

Little is currently tied for second in OHL league scoring. He is also the current active career points leader in the Ontario Hockey League, with 252.
