Justin Donati named the CHL Player of the Week

Toronto – The Canadian Hockey League announced today that Toronto St.

Michael’s Majors’ forward Justin Donati is the CHL Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday October 22 after scoring seven goals and one assist in three games.

Donati, who turned 21 last Tuesday, opened the week with a hat trick and an assist in a 7-6 win over the Mississauga IceDogs on October 18. He followed up with another hat trick in a 6-3 win over the Kitchener Rangers on October 20 and finished the week with a goal in a 6-4 loss to the Barrie Colts on October 22. The Oakville native has 12 points in the past five games.

Ivan Rohac of the Kamloops Blazers was the WHL player of the week after scoring two goals and six points while helping the Blazers to two victories last week. Danick Bouchard of the Shawinigan Cataractes was the QMJHL’s offensive player of the week after scoring six goals and nine points in three games and Maxim Noreau of the Victoriaville Tigres was the QMJHL’s defensive player of the week after scoring two goals and five points in three games.
