Cole Named BOSTON PIZZA WHL Player of the Week

Calgary – The BOSTON PIZZA WHL Player of the Week is defenseman Brad Cole of the Saskatoon Blades.

Cole earned player of the week honours by recording three goals and eight points in three games during the week of December 11th to December 17th, leading the Blades to three straight victories in that span.

On Wednesday, December 13th, Cole notched four assists as the Blades beat the Moose Jaw Warriors 6-1 in Saskatoon.

On Friday, December 15th, Cole scored two power play goals, including the game-winner with less than two minutes to play in the third period, to lead the Blades to a 3-2 road victory over the Swift Current Broncos.

On Saturday, December 16th, Cole scored one goal and added an assist as the Blades beat the Swift Current Broncos 5-4 in a shootout in Saskatoon.

Cole, a 20-year-old from Miniota, MB, is in his fourth WHL season.
