One of the host countries for the 2013 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament, Slovakia, has had a difficult time at this year's tourney. The team failed to win any of their four games, with the most recent loss being an 11-0 drubbing at the hands of Sweden in the seventh place match.

One player on the Slovakian squad, forward Adrian Holesinsky, is quite familiar with Sweden. The Zilina, Slovakia native took his talents north to play for Vasteras in the Swedish junior leagues. Holesinsky played in 35 games for the J18 squad, netting 10 goals and adding 18 assists for 28 points.

At this Ivan Hlinka tournament, Holesinsky has notched a goal and an assist while also racking up 25 penalty minutes. He is eligible for the 2014 NHL Draft but is not considered among the top prospects for that draft at this time.

Holesinsky spoke with Hockey's Future following a loss to Finland, a conversation that is captured in this HF video.
