2007-08: He was assigned to the Quad City Flames (AHL) on Sept. 19 after attending Calgary’s Training Camp. In 68 games with the Flames, Cunning netted 11 goals and four assists. He played in his 100th career game on Nov. 4 vs. San Antonio and recorded his 100th career penalty minute on Nov. 27 vs. Chicago. He reached a new career-high in penalty minutes with his 46th PIM on the season on Jan. vs. Chicago.
