2007-08: In his first year pro, Rogers appeared in two regular season games with the Toronto Marlies (AHL) and an additional 10 in the teams 2008 Calder Cup Playoff run. Prior to joining with the Marlies, Rogers completed his third season with Niagara University (CHA). He scored the game-winning goal in the 2008 CHA Tournament Championship Game for the Purple Eagles in a 3-2 win over Bemidji State on Mar. 16. He was also named to the CHA All-Tournament Team. In 34 games during the regular season, he established career highs in goals (10), assists (13), points (23), and penalty minutes (40).
