Talent Analysis
Dunn is a dynamic offensive defenseman who has steadily improved his positional play on the defensive end during his junior career. A bit thin for an ideal blueline prospect, he is fast on his skates and uses his agility to take away scoring chances and avoid risky situations.
Future
Dunn was one of the top defensemen in the OHL in 2015-16, bouncing back from a wrist injury in mid-season to lead Niagara's defensemen in scoring. He will attend his second training camp with the Blues looking to win a roster spot but barring any surprises will be begin his pro career with the AHL's Chicago Wolves in 2016-17. Dunn projects as a top-four defenseman with the ability to contribute to the attack both on the transition and on the power play.
